Installation

We can install our lantern enclosures onto existing and new steel, aluminium, or cast-iron columns.

Feeder pillars can be installed ready for connection by the electricity board, before running the ducting and cabling required for each column. For safety, our electricians follow strict industry guidelines to connect and terminate both new and existing lighting and traffic sign systems. For minimal disruption, we can control and isolate the power supply to lanterns. We can also manage the electricity cable network to keep lighting systems working.

If possible, we remove columns for a full renovation and treatment to protect from the elements and give a durable, high quality finish. If removal is not feasible, our team can clean and sand columns before painting and treating on site.

We can undertake maintenance including routine cleaning, lamp testing and changes. Or correcting problems such as, day-burning, cycling, and electrical faults.
