Collcutt Fountain
In 2016 we were commissioned to restore the RSPCA Collcutt Fountain at Richmond Park, designed by architect T.E.Collcutt in 1891.
We had to remove the structure by crane to move it to our workshop for full restoration. The lanterns were recreated because the existing lanterns were in very poor condition. The main structure had parts missing, broken and corroded beyond repair which had to be remade before re painting and gilding.
The restoration of the Collcutt fountain won the 2016 Richmond Society Award.
